With the Four nations opening match only being around the corner, who would you choose for the first game against france in what has to be a real potential banana skin of a game.
Ok, Mogg and McGuire have pulled out, but that still gives them a fairly decent lineup, much better than the side we trounced back in June.
For the first game against France, my line up would be as follows:
1. Briscoe 2. Fox 3. Shenton 4. Smith 5. Hall 6. McGuire 7. Tomkins 8. Morley 9. Moore 10. Graham 11. Peacock 12. Ellis 13. Sinfield
14. Roby 15. Carvell 16. Westwood 17. Crabtree.
I've gone with this line up for this game with a bench packed with forwards mainly because the French are a big, strong side and can put it a bout a bit. Having peacock in the second row as a opposed to prop to give us more size out wide, and peacock has played many a times there.
I've chosen moore on his form over roby, who is also usually better off the bench too.
What's everyone else think?

Briscoe Fox Smith Shenton Hall McGuire Tomkins Graham Moore Peacock Ellis Burgess Sinfield
Morley Carvell Roby Wilkin
Moore is more of a starting hooker than Roby and I think Roby coming on at the same time as Morley and Carvell would be a good thing. Maybe I'd swap Wilkin for Eastmond to cover the backs as Peacock could always move to SR if needed.
