Bradford sign Wildcat Sculthorpe Sculthorpe is hoping for a more settled playing spell with Bradford Bradford Bulls have signed prop forward Danny Sculthorpe from Wakefield on a two-year deal. The 30-year-old, who spent the latter part of last season at Huddersfield, began his career at Leeds and also had spells at Wigan and Castleford. Bulls coach Steve McNamara said: "Danny is an old-fashioned English-style front-rower, a ball-playing forward. "Danny Sculthorpe is his own person but he's an outstanding footballer who has caused us trouble in the past." news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_league/super_league/bradford/8321989.stm

"Why spend over the odds for a big name player who might not perform? Danny will do..."
