I think Hudds will surprise Saints and go to Wembley.

The 'in-form' team in Super League. Giants to win in a close, low scoring game.
Brett Hodgsons kicking being the difference.
When are Saints going to get a new kicker ?

I'd like to see Giants do it but they don't seem to get it together in the big games.

I hope the giants do it personally, we need a Yorkshire side there.

And to think we were going to shout for Wigan if Hudds loose.
Looks like we might just have to go to IKEA instead on the 29th.

The result of this match will determine whether i go or not.
If it's saints (rugby's worst supporters) V Warrington ( not very far behind them in that league) are playing i aint going.

I've gotta get Mrs Phoo out of bed early after her night shift specially for this match so Hudds had better win or else my evening is going to be fun, NOT! LOL

Here is hoping your evening isn't fun (no offence to Mrs Phoo!) but I can't help but think it will be her celebrating later

I'm hoping so.
So long as it's a cracking match and we're talking about the rugby afterwards and not the officials.
I hope Hudds can replicate the first half performance of the Wire yesterday, that was some of the best rugby I've seen played this years.

I haven't watched yesterdays game yet, Sky Plus decided not to play so will have to catch it on iplayer later but sounds like they completely outplayed wigan in the first half. So if Hudds play like that in the first half hopefully we have a second half a bit better than Wigan did One thing is for sure after yesterdays score if we (or hudds) have a convincing lead at half time it won't stop me being nervous!

owch. Even though I predicted it would happen it didn't lessen the blow at all. Full credit to Hudds they were spot on in there tactics and more than deserved the win I hope they go on to do well at Wembley.
I think what hurt most is the fact it is the "end of an era" for Saints now, but at the same time that era coming to an end is a good thing for the game overall especially in the sense that for the first time in 20 plus years none of the "big 4" are at the cup final.

Another way of looking at it, two new sides in the final means that the cap is working and it's good god the game that the monopoly of one/two winning things of the last few years has been broken.

exactly, things are levelling out and as a rugby fan that has to be good for the game.
