Salford v Leeds (Fri) ENGAGE SUPER LEAGUE Venue: The Willows Date: Friday, 11 September Kick-off: 2000 BST Coverage: Score updates on BBC Radio 5 Live & the BBC Sport website; highlights on the Super League Show -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jay Pitts is poised to make his Leeds debut in their final match of the regular Super League season at Salford. The 19-year-old forward, and fellow teenager Kallum Watkins, could get their chances with Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Keith Senior both suspended. Captain Kevin Sinfield should be fit to play after a facial injury sustained in last week's 18-10 win over St Helens. Leeds need a point, or to avoid a heavy defeat, to secure the League Leaders' Shield ahead of the play-offs. Salford captain Malcolm Alker will be aiming to finish the season by topping the league's tackling charts for the fourth time. The long-serving hooker leads the way with 948 tackles, with team-mate Luke Adamson second on 894 and Bradford loose forward Jamie Langley third on 854. Eight years ago Alker became the first player in Super League to top 1,000 tackles in a season. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Salford (from): Wilshere, Henry, Littler, Parker, McGilvray, Smith, Ratchford, Cashmere, Alker, Stapleton, Adamson, Sidlow, Swain, Paul, Sibbit, Leuluai, Nash, Fitzpatrick, Spencer.
