Got my doubts about Wilkin, but there doesn't seem to be any other options. Some Wire fans i know are amazed that he's picked Bridge at centre, which is a bit of a worry to me.

Just back from Huddersfield. Isn't Kevin Sinfield just fantastic...what a star he is... Some people think he is just average..... lol Looking forward to playing the Aussies at Elland Road - let's hope Mr Sinfield is just as average then as he was tonight... I am totally in love.........let me get hold of his laundry......

Well done to the lads.
I hope they can prove their doubters (me included) wrong next week.
If they can play like that for another 80 minutes I'm confident of a Four nations victory.
Not sure about Bridge, He didn't do anything that Smith didn't do last week, and I'm sure I saw Wilkin make a tackle first man in, and he made a hit up too.
I also think that Sinfield should be Captain. He controls the team and organises them. Sure, JP Leads by example, but a captain must do more than that.
Tomkoins and Eastmond has very good defencive games, as did all the team, but I Didn't see much attack from the pair apart from kicks.
Still, come on smithy. at least keep the team stable for two weeks in a row and let them settle together.
Same team next week ? - Why Not !

I hope we go with the same team next week, at least there appeared to be some passion and pride last night and that paid off

A win's a win. Despite that though i dont think we played that well as a team.
Let's start with the positives, Sinfield played very well, i think he's better at hooker in the internationals than both the names hookers.
Crabtree hasn't looked out of place in any of the games he's played in, and last night he was everywhere again. Fox and hall were very good on the wings. Why didn't Fox play against the Aussies?
Ok, so no areas of improvement. Wilkin was still hiding in the centres, he really is a shirker. While Eastmond and Tomkins are the future halfbacks, they didnt seem to get things moving so well. They Probably just need some time. Still struggling at right centre, Bridge did no more than smith would have done.

I agree about Tomikins and Eastmond, hopefully they are given the time they need to develop together though so that they relationship works well between them. Problem is after this tournament international will probably be forgotton about until a meaningless friendly June next year then next years 4 nations!

I think Tomkins and Eastmond played well, especially when you consider that it was the first time they were partnered. They can only get better. Sinfield was great, a well deserved m.o.m. Perhaps he should always play at hooker.

Reality check next week, but it's a start. It vindicates Smiths decision to dismantle the old and go with the new. I wonder how much of a future Peacock and Morley have got as they both put in a good stint.

England will get a whuppin, deserved or not. The Aussies have shown how it's done already..why didn't the Kiwis take note, it was very careless of them.
